Thomas W. White, MD, FACS, USA

Dr. White practices Trauma Surgery and Surgical Critical Care at the Intermountain Medical Center, an American College of Surgeons verified Level 1 Trauma Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. He is the Medical Director of the Nutrition Support Service and is a Clinical Professor of Surgery in the University of Utah Surgery Residency Program. He is the current Education Chair of the Chest Wall Injury Society. His clinical interests include bedside echocardiography, critical care nutrition, thromboelastography, resident and APP education. He is a recognized expert in rib fixation surgery and has participated in multiple efforts on a world-wide scale to improve the overall care for patients with chest wall injury.
